Ghost Mode assets

This is a local 2.4.0 edition of HITMAPS.GhostModeEnabler, combining:

  • Ghost Mode 2.3.0 by MrMike and Anthony Fuller: Miami, Santa Fortuna and Hawke's Bay, including the shared Ghost Mode UI and resources.
  • Ghost Mode – Haven Island 1.0.0 (Adam.GhostHaven) by Adam: the Haven Island entrance, items and targets bricks and their dependencies.

Only one SMF mod is required. Keep future map additions in this folder and this manifest, rather than creating additional SMF mods. The separate Ghost-Mode-Haven source folder is retained as a reference; it is not required to deploy or play this merged mod.

Install Instructions for Gamers

  1. Close HITMAN.
  2. Open SMF
  3. Remove existing Ghost Mode mods
  4. Add this mod to SMF and deploy
  5. Install the GhostCrossplay.dll for ZHMModSDK which can be found here: https://git.ramon.cc/ramon/crossghost/releases/latest

Integration details

  • content/chunk10/versus_*_opulent_stingray.entity.json are copies of Adam's three source files. Their spawn positions, target behaviour, original-mission overrides and resource IDs are preserved. The targets file adds the fDynamicScaleCloseupDistance: 0.0 HUD field required by the current game schema; without it SMF fails with NO_SUCH_FIELD: fDynamicScaleCloseupDistance.
  • manifest.json registers those bricks in the opulent partition, adds Haven's dependency copies in chunk1, and retains the original chunk0 dependencies.
  • project.json includes the six Haven resource paths for QuickEntity editing.
  • Only Haven's location label is merged; unrelated localisation overrides for other maps and the global "Not Really Ghost Mode" header are not imported.
  • Upstream updateCheck is omitted so an update of the unmodified base mod cannot silently replace this local merged edition. Merge future upstream updates into this folder manually.
  • No Adam.GhostHaven requirement or load-order entry is needed: its assets are part of this mod now. The original Ghost Mode menu option is unchanged.

LocalGhost's new Haven contract and dedicated preset both use 5e895adf-9879-44d9-b43f-13bb24e897bc. The location is LOCATION_OPULENT_STINGRAY, with the LOCATION_OPULENT entitlement, and loads scene_stingray_basic.entity with the three Haven bricks and shared Ghost Mode UI/multiplayer bricks. Objective/scoring rules follow the existing Ghost Mode contracts. The DLL's src/game_maps.h maps the preset for Epic guests.

Offline checks

From this folder:

node --test tests/haven.test.mjs

These verify the copied assets' hashes, resource registrations, dependencies, store flags and absence of entity resource-ID collisions. They do not run SMF or modify an installed game. Server and native-DLL tests live in their own projects. Manually test hosting both ways, targets/scoring, crates, respawn, disconnect and rejoin before treating Haven as validated.
